Josie is a specialized legal, financial, and technical linguist who bridges the gap between complex regulatory frameworks and high-impact communication. Her expertise is built on a multidisciplinary academic foundation, having completed legal studies at the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Law, alongside a Translation degree from McGill University and specialized training in Legislative Drafting from Université Laval.

A certified member of OTTIAQ and the Canadian Association of Legal Translators, Josie also serves as the Senior French Editor & Translator for the Canadian Tourism Commission. Her leadership in the industry is further evidenced by her roles as the Language Lead (Fr-Ca) for global Fintech giants Stripe and Mastercard, where she ensures linguistic precision for international payment systems.

Josie’s career is defined by her long-term partnerships with the world’s most influential technology brands. She was the Lead on the French-Canadian account for Google for eight years and served as the Language Quality Manager for Apple for six years, notably spearheading the regional launches of the Google Assistant and the iTunes Store. Her extensive portfolio includes six years as a brand lead for LEGO, four-year tenures as a lead linguist for both Spotify and TELUS, and a track record of excellence as a trusted resource for multiple Government of Canada ministries—including Transport Canada and IRCC—since 2019.
